Design

This wallpaper features the Japanese artist Gackt Camui. These images come from a magazine called Arena37C. When I saw the images, I thought a wallpaper with a rainbow running through it would go wonderfully with them. The main images had him grayed out, but not the images he was holding, while smaller images were all in color. I found it fascinating and had to use them. I first placed the main image on the right and then went to work on the smaller images on the left. I took a roll of film of my own and scanned it in, erasing my pictures and adding his. Once that was finished, I placed it and then decided there should be something more so I used the circles to point out each item he was holding.

Finished with the images themselves, I started on the background. I layed out the text and letters in the background, layed down the squares overlay and then finally the rainbow overlay.
