Oil Campaign

Create a guerilla campaign about oil.

Design

Since this was going to be designed for a broad audience to view, you can see that the images and text are simple. I made it that way to be easy and quick to understand. So that when someone saw it, it would register to them as an advertisement about something we all understand. You can also notice the oil spot getting bigger and bigger with each frame until it has completely taken over the last frame and helps the bright white letters stand out, stating the point of the ad.

Aside from the design, my classmates and I were to think of a way to get a great audience to see our ads. My idea was to make this flash (or gif as it is now) and "hire" a hacker to hack into major sites such as Google or Amazon and make it so that the flash would load before the site and everyone would have to view the ad before going to the site, forcing them to look at the problem of our use of oil so they would think about it, even if for 5 more secons than usual. Pretty clever, huh?

Although this is off the topic, one of my classmates actually designed a flag-like design that was to be put over the signs of gas stations. He decided he would "hire" ninjas to pull off this feat. He was also a clever guy! *laughs*
