Design

This is an early drawn panel I did as I was starting to get the story together to get ready for drawing. I chose this one because I thought the way that everything was positioned was well done and I liked how the gradients worked to blend the panels and give it a mysterious air. The original line drawing was done on paper, and then scanned in and outliined in Illustrator before screen tone and gradients were added in Photoshop.

This is a part of the story where the main character has just woken up from a nightmare and sits up in bed, just breathing for a moment before getting a hold on himself and sighing as he realizes it's just a dream.
