Design
Design? What design? Actually, being my first attempt at a comic, I wanted to do something simple and fun that people could identify with easily. The basic characters of these comics are college age guys who occasionally say or do things that make you chuckle in amusement and wonder if they have any more enlightening things to say. I notice webcomics that break ground in shading and coloring, that look amazing to the casual viewer. I thought something simple that resembled more of a stick figure would be more amusing to the reader, since many people often claim that they can only draw stick figures. I had a lot of fun coming up with a style that was simple and understandable.
The idea of this comic was to explore left handed people who are often hurt by products made for right handed people. It wasn't difficult picking out an item for a lefty to kill himself with by accident. I probably could have picked scissors but that didn't seem as horrifyingly funny as a chainsaw did. Although the characters aren't fleshed out much, you can tell who is more responsible and who is the careless one. I really enjoy these characters and want to do a whole lot more comics of them.
